DIY Pumpkin Facial

If there’s one thing I L-O-V-E, it’s this time of year! The weather allows for boots and scarves, cool breezes (Making it so I dont need to powder my nose nearly as often!), and best of all…PUMPKIN versions of all my faves…lattes, pies and even DIY FACIALS!!

Here’s an amazing one that helps repair, smooth and smells incredible!

Ingredients

2 teaspoons cooked or canned pumpkin (pureed)

1/2  teaspoon honey

1/4 teaspoon milk

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon spice

Directions

Combine all your ingredients and apply. (Avoiding eye area.)

Leave on for 15-20 minutes

Rinse with warm water.

Benefits

According to Divavillage.com Pumpkin is full of vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, potassium, alpha-carotene, zinc, beta carotene, and lutein. Pumpkin enzymes can soothe and protect your skin. These essential nutrients can reach deep within your pores and absorb quickly.Pumpkin nourishes dry skin instantly, giving you a healthy glow anytime your skin needs a boost!  Colder weather can make your skin especially dehydrated, and the brisk fall and winter breeze certainly doesn’t help. Pumpkin works as an accelerator for other ingredients, helping the skin absorb vital nutrients and vitamins quickly.

Happy Fall my favorite pamperers 🙂
