DIY: Pumpkin Pie Body Scrub

Hey Dolls! With the amazing popularity of the DIY pumpkin facial , I’m so excited to extend the fantastic fall fun for today’s Pumpkin Pie BODY SCRUB! Woo whoo. 🙂

We all know how important exfoliation is for our skin.  Our face and body need our help in removing the oldest layer of skin cells that cling to the outer most layer, (epidermis) of our skin.  It leaves everything feeling smoother, healthier and more able to absorb moisturizers.

Todays recipe is meant for the hands and body. I got this recipe from Under The Table and Dreaming‘s website, love it! Pamper yourself!

2 Cups of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Cup + 1 Tablespoon of Sunflower, Safflower, or Vegetable Oil (avoid olive oil if possible, solely for “smell” reasons.)

Mix Brown Sugar, Granulated Sugar and Pumpkin Pie Spice together, making sure there are no lumps.

Add in oil and mix well.

Hop in the shower and apply the scrub onto a washcloth (the rougher the washcloth, the more the exfoliation)

Starting at your feet, and working your way up (avoiding the face) apply to skin and work in circular motions.

Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

*If this scrub is stored in a sanitized, seal container if can keep for a couple of months! 🙂

SO FUN! Happy scrubbing!
